Privacy Policy.

What personal information AminoHaus collects, why it is collected, who it is disclosed to, and the choices and rights available to you.

Effective 29 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AminoHaus collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with aminohaus.com, our checkout, customer accounts, orders, the Partner Program, and related communications (together, the “Services”). It is incorporated into the AminoHaus Terms and Conditions.

AminoHaus operates from the United States and sells and ships within the United States only. Personal information collected through the Services is processed and stored in the United States.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This policy applies to visitors to the website, account holders, customers, Partner Program applicants and partners, and anyone who contacts AminoHaus through the contact form, by email, or by telephone.

It does not apply to the independent practices of third parties, including payment processors, carriers, and the operators of any site linked from the Services. Those parties handle personal information under their own notices.

2. Information You Provide

AminoHaus collects the information you choose to give us, which may include:

  • Identity and contact details, including name, email address, and telephone number
  • Billing and shipping addresses entered at checkout or saved to an account
  • Account credentials — a username and a password, which is stored only in hashed form and is never visible to AminoHaus
  • Order information, including items, quantities, order history, and options selected at checkout such as shipment protection
  • The content of messages you send through the contact form, by email, or through support channels, including the subject and body you write
  • An email address submitted to the research updates list
  • Partner Program application details, including business, audience, and payout information
  • Documentation requested to verify age, identity, eligibility, or research purpose, or to investigate suspected fraud or a payment dispute
  • Claim materials such as photographs, tracking references, batch or lot numbers, storage details, and written statements supplied in support of a delivery or fulfillment claim

You are not required to provide any of this information, but some of it is necessary to create an account, place an order, or receive support.

3. Payment Information

Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. AminoHaus does not collect, store, or have access to full card numbers, expiration dates, or card security codes.

From the processor, AminoHaus receives only what is needed to complete and support an order, such as the billing name and address, the card brand, the last four digits of the card, the authorization result, and fraud-screening signals.

The payment processor handles card data under its own privacy notice and security obligations, and its handling of that data is not governed by this policy.

4. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, some information is collected automatically:

  • IP address and the approximate region derived from it
  • Browser type and version, device type, operating system, screen characteristics, and language settings
  • Pages viewed, links selected, referring and exit URLs, timestamps, and session duration
  • Server, security, and error logs generated by hosting and application infrastructure
  • Cart, session, and checkout identifiers required to keep a basket and a signed-in session working across the storefront and checkout

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

AminoHaus uses cookies and similar browser storage in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — sign-in and session cookies, the cart token, the checkout handoff, the research-use acknowledgement, and security tokens that protect forms against cross-site request forgery
  • Functional — remembering preferences and choices you have already made so they do not have to be re-entered
  • Analytics and performance — aggregate measurement of how the site is used, so pages and navigation can be improved

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off without breaking the cart, sign-in, and checkout. Other cookies can be blocked or cleared through your browser settings, which may reduce site functionality.

AminoHaus does not use cookies to build advertising profiles across unaffiliated websites. Where required by law, a Global Privacy Control or similar browser signal is treated as a valid opt-out request.

6. How Information Is Used

Personal information is used to:

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and document orders, including certificates of analysis and order records
  • Create and maintain accounts and saved addresses
  • Provide customer support and respond to enquiries and claims
  • Verify age, identity, eligibility, and research purpose
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and to screen transactions
  • Respond to payment disputes and chargebacks with the records described in the Terms and Conditions
  • Operate the Partner Program, attribute referrals, and calculate payouts
  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, claim updates, and security notices
  • Send marketing messages where you have given any consent the law requires
  • Measure and improve site performance, catalogue, and content
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Enforce the Terms and Conditions and other applicable policies

7. AminoHaus Does Not Sell Personal Information

AminoHaus does not sell personal information, and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.

AminoHaus has not sold or shared personal information for those purposes in the twelve months preceding the date of this policy, and does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

AminoHaus does not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted without an opt-out under applicable law, and does not use it to infer characteristics about you.

8. How Information Is Shared

Personal information may be disclosed to:

  • Payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, and identity-verification providers
  • Fulfillment providers and shipping carriers, limited to what is needed to pack, label, ship, and track an order
  • Hosting, storage, content-delivery, and security providers that operate the Services
  • Email and message-delivery providers, for transactional and consented marketing messages
  • Analytics providers, for aggregate site measurement
  • Customer-support and ticketing tools used to answer enquiries and claims
  • Professional advisers, including legal, accounting, and audit advisers, under duties of confidentiality
  • Government authorities, regulators, or other parties where required by law, legal process, or a valid request, or where necessary to protect rights, safety, or property
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a successor notice

Service providers receive only the information needed for the work they perform, and are contractually restricted to using it for that work.

9. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out

Marketing email and text messages are sent only with any consent applicable law requires. Consent to marketing is never a condition of purchase.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any marketing message, and may stop marketing text messages by replying STOP. Transactional and legally required messages about an order, an account, or a security event continue regardless.

10. Data Retention

Personal information is kept only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy.

  • Account information is kept while the account remains open, and for a reasonable period afterwards
  • Order, payment, and tax records are kept for the period required by applicable tax, accounting, and recordkeeping law
  • Fraud, dispute, chargeback, and eligibility-verification records are kept for as long as needed to investigate and defend claims
  • Support and claim correspondence is kept for a reasonable period after a matter is closed
  • Server and security logs are kept on a short rolling cycle

Where a deletion request is granted, records subject to a legal retention obligation are held for the remainder of that period and are then deleted or de-identified. Routine backups are overwritten on their ordinary cycle.

11. Security

AminoHaus uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption of traffic in transit, hashed password storage, restricted administrative access, and separation of the storefront from the checkout and payment environment.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and AminoHaus cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying AminoHaus promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

Where a security incident affecting personal information occurs, AminoHaus will provide any notification required by applicable law.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected, used, and disclosed, and to access a copy of it
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Receive a portable copy of the information you provided
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — AminoHaus does neither
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information — AminoHaus does not use it beyond permitted purposes
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise a right, email support@aminohaus.com with the request and the email address associated with your account or orders. AminoHaus verifies a request by matching it against information already held, and may ask you to sign in to the account in question. A request that cannot be verified will be declined.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission, and AminoHaus may ask you to confirm the agent’s authority directly.

AminoHaus acknowledges and responds within the period required by applicable law, generally within forty-five days, and will say so if an extension is needed. Where state law provides an appeal route for a declined request, the response explains how to appeal.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Services are directed to qualified adult researchers. Purchasers must be at least 21 years old.

AminoHaus does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If AminoHaus learns that it has collected such information, it will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a minor has provided personal information may contact support@aminohaus.com.

14. Third-Party Sites and Content

The Services may link to or embed third-party websites, laboratories, carriers, payment providers, or social platforms. AminoHaus does not control those parties and is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.

Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that party’s own privacy notice.

15. Changes to This Policy

AminoHaus may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in its practices, service providers, or legal obligations. Updates become effective when posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Where a change materially affects how personal information is used, AminoHaus will provide any additional notice the law requires.
